Deep Cove

This waterfront home boasts personality and colour. Our client came from a design background and wasn’t afraid to push boundaries when it came to colour and pattern. This is an active family in need of a space that utilized durable materials yet still followed their desired clean and modern look. Polished concrete floors allow for the durability needed for the space all while complimenting the modern minimalist aesthetic. The natural lime green onyx stone slab in the kitchen backsplash is the focal point of the entire main floor – dramatic and durable. The hood fan, the lighting above the island and dining table were all made custom for the space by a local Vancouver artisan. Graphic wallpaper was used in a couple of washrooms to add personality, slat walls were used to introduce wood finishing to add warmth to the concrete and tile areas all while allowing for privacy and separation of space. Our scope for this project ranged from architectural revision, all the way to art installation.
