Granville Island

Light and bright was desired for this condo. By opening the kitchen to the dining area, natural light filtered throughout the space. We used wood lower cabinets with contrasting white uppers to create the illusion of a higher ceiling. The use of the marble mosaic tile on the full wall in the kitchen added a level of sophistication. Custom built-ins around the fireplace were installed for displaying items and storing books, while drawers were incorporated into the design to tuck away remote controls. Underneath the drawers on both sides, open space was left to store two poufs that were pulled out for additional seating when needed.  Lastly, wallpaper was added to the headboard wall for subtle accent, while a vintage heirloom cabinet was put in place for storage and character.
